Director Message
Hello, My name is Heather Peters and I am so excited to be a part of the team at Achievers Preschool SR as your program director. I have two of my own children, Trevor is in middle school and Hannah is in high school.
For seven years, I worked in child development by running a large family child care program in my home. During that time, I enjoyed developing the curriculum and working with my assistants and parents to provide the best possible environment for their children. After daycare and my children were older, I decided to find a job outside of the home.

Our 7 yo son absolutely loved this class, both in terms of the class content and the instructors. They shared an end of the week performance video with parents and it was beyond adorable. Our son has attended 5 week long Achievers sessions this summer and we will definitely be back for more next year. We have been very pleased with the class content, instructors, hygiene practices, and our son's feedback has been nothing but glowing.
My son attended half day summer camp on weekly basis. Every week the theme was different and he loved going to achievers. Teachers are very warm and affectionate and did great job for the summer program.
A long overdue review. My son (then 7) attended Achievers' Summer Steam, Thanksgiving Fun Camp, and have been at their after-school program. We started off with their summer program and my son loved it. I was a bit apprehensive for a summer program without a full outdoor area to play (my son is active). He was kept engaged throughout the two weeks he attended! They did utilize the park across once a week. So that's a plus! This gave me confidence with my child joining their after-school program. This past Thanksgiving-both my sons (5 & 8) attended their Fun Camp and had fun.
My daughter has been attending camps and afterschool at achievers since last year and I have only good things to say. She loves going to Achievers and is always excited to being home and tell me about the projects she made. She would ask me to pick her up late so she can spend more time there. That definitely gave me peace of mind that my child is at a happy place. We are enrolled for more camps and look forward to summer this year.
My daughter attended this camp and absolutely loved it. She did a new project every day and was so excited for us to see it. I would recommend this camp to all my friends. We will be back this year again.
Absolutely amazing teachers offering such creative content. I have not found another camp like this which can teach kids cooking, crafts, dancing, art, science and so much more!
Achievers does a great job with engaging the students (all ages). My kids come home every day and share something new they learned! They also love friday activities and pizza 🙂 The only suggestion I have for the program is to have some fun activities or games when they go to lake Elizabeth.
